Zeus Gutter Protection uses the highest quality aluminum soffit and fascia in a variety of colors! To start, we miter all corners at a 45-degree angle, then fasten them with stainless steel nails. When that happens, we prevent rusting and ensure a secure hold onto the fascia board. Once we cover your overhangs with our aluminum soffit and fascia, you won’t need to paint them again! Our aluminum materials have a 50-year baked-on enamel finish that will make your home look brand-new!
So you may ask, “What’s a fascia? Also known as a soffit board, fascia is a board that runs horizontally under the roof edge. As such, it’s meant to cover the openings between the rafters of your home or your property’s roof. Further, the board is designed to hold up and stabilize your home’s gutters.
Fascia is found on most modern homes. However, some older homes with more ornate rafter tails will not have these. That’s because it was believed that the large roof overhangs, created by ornate rafter tails, were large enough to move water far enough from the foundation. Even so, water can still find its way back in and around the foundation of your home. As a result, excess water may damage your siding, paint, windows, and doors.
If your current fascia is damaged, rotted, or missing completely, Zeus recommends a fix. Our team can repair your fascia with an aluminum fascia wrap, which comes in multiple sizes. Otherwise, we can replace the fascia completely.
Keep in mind that it may be difficult to tell if your fascia is rotted without removing the gutter first. Unfortunately, if water has been running between the fascia and gutter for some time, there’s a good chance that the fascia has rotted. As a result, the board will not support a gutter system designed to withstand our heavy rains and storms.
The soffit is that layer of wood, vinyl or aluminum that runs from the bottom of the fascia to the top of your wall board. Together, the fascia and soffit protect the rafters from weather and moisture. Furthermore, it allows for air to properly flow through the soffits and vents. Remember: airflow can keep the temperatures down. In Florida, attic spaces can get extremely hot, making your A/C work harder to cool your home. If your soffit needs a replacement, or if you do not have soffit in the first place, Zeus Gutter Protection will install it for you!
But, if your home doesn’t have fascia, and installing it is not an option, Zeus Gutter Protection will install a gutter with roof straps instead. These straps attach to a hidden hanger inside the gutter itself and secures right onto the roof. If your roof is older, it is not recommended to lift up the shingles to insert the strap. Otherwise, this can cause damage and potential leaks. A Zeus gutter system with roof straps is built tough but is not often as strong as installing with a fascia. Roof hangers are also less aesthetically pleasing.
If your gutters are on the loose, unleash the power of Zeus Gutter Protection!

• Fascia provides a layer of strength to stabilize the gutter.
• You can attach your soffit board to close off the attic space
• Soffit has vents. As a result, it prevents water from entering the home and keeps the home cooler in the summer months.
• An open rafter gets screwed into the end grain of the available wood. However, it’s not as strong as screwing it into the perpendicular wood of the fascia. But, there is more strength and stability when you are able to screw into grains of wood that run horizontally.
• Without fascia, insects and animals will find their way into your home.
